The Struggle of Life Young O (a.k.a. Timothy Isaiah Wallace) was born July 31,1989 on the South Side of Chicago. As a child, Young O took an interest in music listening to rap acts like Crucial Conflict, Jay-Z and Notorious B.I.G. It took a hit song by Biggie entitled "Everyday Struggle" for Young O to eventually take a deeper interest in rap music. When Young O went to the Rock The Mic Tour with some of his friends, he was overwhelmed with the crowd's reaction. From then on it seemed Young O’s real talent in life was music, but as time progressing Young O found himself writing rap lyrics trying to enhance his skills. In late 2003 Young O hooked up with a local manager who seemed to be interested in what he was doing at the time, but the relationship didn't last long. Young O started booking his own shows at clubs like, Mr. Ricky’s. Later Young O taught himself to write, produce, mix and master his own materials.... along the way hooking up with a Young O is different from most rappers out there today in that he tends to think outside the box. Rappers today think about writing punch line so much. Young O feels that there are times when a listener wants to see different sides of you; hear your different views, and how you might handle a situation concerning other life issues? He thinks it's cool to rap and tell people you're a "thug", a "pimp" or a "gangster", but that's not how you would feel on an everyday basis. Young O looks at his music as his way of showing people different types of feelings from time to time... music that can be heard and related to all kinds of issues and in all sorts of situations. Bottom line when you think about it, Young O’s music is kind of the "The Struggle of His Life.”
