Jeff J. L. J Jefferson was born on june 21, 1976 in Lufkin, Tx but moved to Houston, Tx as a kid in the early 80's and has called it home every since. After going back and forth to the country for long summer vacations and also attending schools in small towns, J. L. J quickly realized that in order to gain huge success he had to be in Houston and start there. "So I became an official Houstonian and my dreams began". J. L. J got into the underground rap scene about 5 years ago when he and his good friend 'D' SHEEZY teamed up and formed E-LETE ARTIST RECORDS. Together they recorded their first mix cd for the streets of Houston and the legacy was born. J. L. J is a highly skilled lyricist who is surely to be at the top of the list amongst the best known artist in hip hop. He is destined to be the voice of Houston and strives to keep quality and good substance alive within the market for both down south music and the industry as a whole. Raising up out the gritty streets of northside Houston, J. L. J spits rhymes that are down to earth in nature and he always has realness, great delivery, and songs that anyone of any age can relate to.
