J.Y Tha Truth is a young new artist on the rise. J.Y born as Jordan Young, grew up in the streets of Houston, TX where life wasn't always easy. He developed a passion for rapping at a young age and promised himself that one day he will make it big in the music world. He started rapping at the age of 12 and he started recording at the age of 14. He had dozens of songs waiting to be heard by record labels but as he stated, "Its hard to get a record deal." So young in the rap game he had to take respect by rapping when he saw people freestyle at parties and teen clubs. Even at school at times when a teacher allow him too he dish out out a verse showing everyone how serious he is is . As the years went on he join his older brother and older cousin group by the name of H.O.G Ent where he was crowned the "Metephor King" in the Houston rap game. His life changed around when he start to do tracks with other underground Houston artist. He has worked with artist such as Big Pokey, Brandy J, Yung 7, RB Jones, IQ, and K1 The Beast. He has aslo worked with an underground label named Block Bleeda Ent. (BBE) and Crash Mode Ent. So thats when he started to get love from all people around the world and thats why he loves his fans. Now J.Y Tha Truth is on a mission to get a major record deal and show the world his lyrical skills. J.Y is eager to work with anybody with the same dream as him. He is currently working on his album entitled "J.Y Tha Truth", his freshman album which includes hits such as "Undercova Lover" and "Automatic Hit". It is to be released late Fall 2008.
