Singer/Songwriters Chyla May and John Madeiro have joined forces to “Rock” the Country world with their new band “Dangerously Beautiful”. Taking elements from the country and classic rock genre’s Dangerously Beautiful has fused together the “Rock-Country” music sound. Chyla’s strong vocals and songwriting combined with John’s melodic chord progressions drives the band in their songwriting ability. Becky Molina provides the backing vocals, with Craig Lightfoot handling the lead guitar work. Adam Orta on bass and Brent (animal) Gilpin on drums supply the rhythm section.
“Price You Paid” the first single from the band, demonstrates the strong songwriting ability with powerful vocals and lyrics by Chyla. Backing vocals by Becky are haunting, and will catch the audience’s attention. Signature lead work by Craig and John’s acoustic guitar add the perfect touch to the song.
“Girls Night Out” shows how the band can change gears and have fun while telling the story of 4 friends out for a night of good times. Adam’s driving bass line sets the tone for the song with Brent providing the backbone on the drums. Both Chyla and Becky’s vocals tell the story of how much fun and trouble 4 friends can get into. Craig’s lead work continues the fun with guitar licks that will bring out the best air guitarist in the room. Be sure and listen closely as you might miss something hilarious but true from both Chyla and Becky.
A Cd release party is schedule in October followed by a TV performance on the Houston Fox station KRIV-26 morning show. With initial interest coming from Nashville and LA, Dangerously Beautiful is ready for what the future brings. More songs are being written on a daily basis and the band grows stronger with every new challenge. Dangerously Beautiful, the next step in “Country/Rock” music.
