Da Hood Boyz started of there with only four friends and a dream. The road to success was very rough but they didn't let that bother them. They started writting music and eventually started recording out of local studio's but things were still rough they soon learned that recording cost. So for a breif moment everything came to a hault. A couple of months went by and they released their first single (Rep Yo Hood) into the community, people were loving it. After releasing the single they filmed a music video for the single. Word was getting around quick. They started getting giggs to perform at local clubs Then after there first performance, word about them had already it to Jacksonville, FL to an independent record label (Sluggaville Entertainment) owner Mckinley Michel who was also a friend from the neighborhood. Mckinley set up a meeting with them and at the meeting he offered to sign them, and that brings us were we are today.
