"A painter paints pictures on canvas. But musicians paint their pictures on silence." -Leopold Stokowski While C-Project is painting on silence, other producers paint upon noise. For the past 4 years, C-Project has been crafting compositions in a cut-and-paste manner, preferring to use samples while still practicing keys. He is new blood, a breath of fresh hip-hop music that has not been brought to the industry in almost twenty years. Most hip-hop producers in the new millenium will play a couple synth keys to make a hypnotic melody, lay down 2 or 3 drum patterns, throw in a sample or two, and leave it at that. C-Project has created distinct sound that often uses more than fourty samples ranging from pounding drums and soulful vocals, to depressing keyboards and movie samples. A distinct sound in today's hip-hop industry is much needed, but he constantly evolves his sound every chance he gets. His first album, Right Of Passage, will debut independently in December 2008. C-Project resides somewhere in Plymouth County, searching for records by nightfall and putting them to use by daytime.
