Blazing Neon are from the UK and have been going for two years. Their sound has a rock tinge to it but can break down to a mellow ambient. A different experience for sure! The first release is an EP entitled 'Lit Up' which has three wonderfully creative tracks. China Brains verse conjures up images of watching a dark storm approaching at speed and then explodes into a lightning chorus! Messy is true Blazing Neon - a seven minute journey into progressive rock with an enchanting ambient ending (if you've ever seen them live you expect an ambient twist to the tracks). Crossed Lines is a true rock track with plenty of dirty sounding guitar but in true Blazing style an organ can definitely be heard cutting a circus-esque sound in the chorus! Excellent stuff. One of the unique things about Blazing Neon is that their tracks are fully instrumental - however live versions do include lyrics. Bizarre. Blazing Neon will definitely rock your boat if you're into indie/alternative or fancy a chill out session.
